I now recognize my journey as a universal, spiritual, story that transcends Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
As I write this, my body is screaming, and I will lie down shortly to recover from the effort of building this page.
However, I am passionate about writing this blog and relieved to have made it this far. Now that I am on what I’m convinced is the final leg of healing, I feel compelled to write down what I wish someone could have told me when I first fell ill in 2004. This compulsion and sense of service seems to override my conflicts about losing a little privacy!
If you are dealing with Chronic Fatigue or any impossible problem, please take heart. You never know what the tide might bring in tomorrow (See Cast Away). Seriously.
I will get better but I may never be the same. And that’s a good thing.
